Approach
At its core, therapy is an invitation to authenticity. As a person-centered therapist who believes that individuals are the experts of their own lived experiences, my role is to provide a relationship of unconditional acceptance and a consistent space for self-exploration that facilitates clients' movement toward self-actualization.

From this secure base, I incorporate elements from other evidence-based approaches such as DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness techniques depending on the client's specific goals and preferences.

When working with clients experiencing suicidality, specifically, I utilize an outpatient treatment framework known as CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality), a protocol which prioritizes the full resolution of suicidal symptoms before moving on to other targets of therapy.
